On March 31, 2015 my wife, two daughters and I took stewardship over the historic F. Walter Cox home in Manti, UT. This blog chronicles our progress in reshaping this beautiful structure back to its former glory as a preserved pioneer home built by our ancestors.

I'm a direct descendant of F.W. Cox through his marriage to Cordelia Calista Morley. Their daughter Sarah Ann was the mother of my maternal grandmother. I grew up in the latter's house in Salt Lake, and she used to tell me stories about the Cox family in Manti, which was her home town, too. I just wanted to tell you that I think your work in restoring and remodeling the Cox house is wonderful, as is the record you've kept of your progress. I love the pictures of your family, too.
